ROYAL EARLSWOOD F.C

The U12s Whites are a group of 13 boys managed by Matt and Lee. The team began at U8 level in the Crawley League where we played for two seasons before moving to the Mid Sussex Youth Football League where we began competing last season. We train on a Wednesday evening.


The move from an artificial 3G surface in the Crawley League to grass pitches in the Mid Sussex Youth Football League definitely proved challenging at first but the team adapted well and produced some nice displays.

There is a great team spirit between the boys and since a lot of them attend the same school they know each other very well. 

The move to 9v9 at U11 has begun well with the boys getting used to different formations and of course the offside rule.

 

As a coaching team, we like to encourage an attractive passing game. We’re never happier than when we see a series of passes culminating in a goal.
